Anche quest'anno Luca Nichetto sarà protagonista della Stockholm Design Week 2012, dal 6 al 12 febbraio, riaffermando ulteriormente l'internazionalità del suo lavoro con due eventi oltre che nuovi progetti che verranno presentati in questa cornice.
Nel contesto della fiera di Stoccolma troveremo i progetti Vader per David Design, una lampada nata dalla ricerca delle tecnologie di produzione della ceramica e dalla mescolanza della cultura scandinava con la tradizione artigiana italiana e Bevel per Ogeborg, una collezione di tappeti che nascono dall'idea di trasferire un effetto caratteristico del vetro su materiali come la lana, il lino e la viscosa.
Inoltre, all'interno dello studio Wolfgang, sede svedese del designer veneziano, è stato allestito un temporary cafè, “Café Wolfgang”, dove verrà presentato l'ampliamento della Wolfgang family per Fornasarig. Parallelamente si terrà “Les Poupées” presso il Museo Hallwyl, all'interno della quale verrà presentata l'omonima serie di oggetti che si compongono di un candeliere in ceramica e di un vaso in vetro, combinati elegantemente in un unico oggetto, disegnati per Gallery Pascale.
Also this year, Luca Nichetto is going to be a protagonist of the Stockholm Design Week 2012, from 6th to 12th of February, thus reaffirming the international character of his work with two events as well as with new projects that will be presented on the occasion. Will be presented the projects
The lamp Vader for David Design, results from the research carried out in the field of ceramics production technologies and from the observation and blending of Scandinavian culture with the Italian tradition of craftsmanship, and Bevel for Ogeborg, collection of carpets deriving from the idea of transferring a characteristic effect of the glass to materials such as wool, linen and viscose.
Moreover, “Cafè Wolfgang” is a temporary cafè set up inside the Wolfgang studio – the Swedish base of the Venetian designer – where the extension of the Wolfgang family for Fornasarig will be officially unveiled. The exhibition “Les Poupées” will take place in parallel at the Hallwyl Museum. Here the eponymous series of objects, designed for Gallery Pascale, composed of a ceramic candleholder and a glass vase that are elegantly combined into a single object, will be presented.
