NEWS FROM STOCKHOLM!
During Stockholm Design Week, Nichetto will inaugurate his show “Synapsis, Stockholm Meets Venice”, a personal exhibition in which he attempts to reinterpret two design cultures – those of Italy and Sweden – by underscoring their commonalities through the display of projects he has produced for four prestigious, historic companies: Bosa, Ceramiche Refin, Venini and Skultuna. For the last of these Nichetto has designed Timeline, a new collection of multi-use bowls in bronze, whose appearance in “Synapsis” will mark its official presentation to the public.
Stockholm Design Week has also afforded the opportunity for Nichetto to shine a spotlight on his new collaboration with Mabeo Furniture, the Botswanan company for which he designed IPE, a collection of wooden objects that includes a stool and a bench.
At Design Week the Venetian designer will also reinforce his collaborative relationship with Offecct through the presentation of Green Pads, which is a component of the company's new "Oasis" initiative. Green Pads is an aluminum shelving system, that provides indoor “green space” by revolutionizing our traditional concept of pots for plants and flowers for contract use.
