Bevel for Ogeborg at Stockholm Furniture Fair 2012
Luca Nichetto presenta la collezione di tappeti Bevel, disegnati per l'azienda svedese Ogeborg.
Con questo progetto si vuole trasferire un effetto caratteristico del vetro, ottenuto attraverso la tecnica della molatura, su materiali del tutto estranei a questa lavorazione, come la lana, il lino e la viscosa. Fili di tessuto di altezze e nuance di colore diversi subiscono due differenti rasature, facendo emergere una sfumatura cromatica che ricorda la stratificazione visibile sulla superficie del vetro molato.
Il progetto, sarà esposto all'interno della fiera allo stand Obegorg: A16:10 e presso “Cafè Wolfgang”: Wolfgang studio, Rådmansgatan 59, Stoccolma.
Luca Nichetto presents the Bevel carpet collection, designed fot the Swedish company Ogeborg.
This project is designed to transpose a characteristic effect obtained by grinding the surface of glass objects to entirely different materials that are never manipulated in this manner, namely wool, linen and viscose.
To create the Bevel carpet collection, strands of fabric of different lengths and hues are subjected to two different shearings in order to bring out chromatic subtleties that recall the visible stratification characterizing ground glass surfaces.
The project, will be presented inside the fair at Obegorg Stand: A16:10 and also at “Café wolfgang”: Wolfgang studio, Rådmansgatan 59, Stoccolma.
