King's Design House
Il mondo food e quello del design si fondono alla ricerca di un obiettivo comune: il connubio tra funzionalità ed estetica. Il Salone del Mobile è stato pertanto il contesto ideale per la presentazione del progetto realizzato da Luca Nichetto per King’s, volto al ripensamento dell’immagine coordinata per distinguere in modo forte e preciso il brand e alla reinterpretazione in modo funzionale di tutti gli strumenti che ruotano attorno al taglio del prosciutto.
Sezionando un parallelepipedo e traslandone le porzioni si ottengono gli spazi che ospitano la King’s Design House by Luca Nichetto, all’interno del Superstudio Più di Via Tortona, a Milano. Un’area espositiva, dedicata al progetto Prosciutteria King’s, prelude all’area lounge. La scelta cromatica di quest’ambientazione verte su tonalità tenui e naturali, come l’avorio e i grigi e ricorda la preziosità delle sete, citando i lussuosi saloni veneziani. Durante i giorni del Salone del Mobile è stato possibile degustare salumi di alta qualità in uno spazio allestito con sedute di Casamania, Emmegi, Fornasarig, Kristalia, Skitsch, complementi di arredo di Bosa, Gallotti & Radice, Italesse, Mabeo, Moroso, Ogeborg, Skultuna e illuminato grazie alla collaborazione con Established & Sons e Foscarini. Sono state, inoltre, presentate alcune novità disegnate da Luca Nichetto per il 2011.
The food and design world blend in the quest for a common objective: the union of functionality and aesthetics. The International Furniture Show thus has represented the ideal opportunity to present the project designed by Luca Nichetto for King’s, aimed at re-conceiving the corporate image to distinguish the brand in a strong and precise way and at re-interpreting the functionality of all the utensils associated with ham cutting.
By sectioning a parallelepiped and staggering its sections, the areas are obtained in which to accommodate the King’s Design House by Luca Nichetto, inside the Superstudio Più in Via Tortona, in Milan. A show area dedicated to the Prosciutteria King’s project introduces into the lounge area. The colours chosen for the setting are soft and natural, such as ivory and shades of grey and recall the preciousness of silk found in luxury Venetian salons. During the Salone del Mobile it has been possible to taste top-quality dressed-pork products in an area furnished with seats by Casamania, Emmegi, Fornasarig, Kristalia, Skitsch, complementary furnishing items by Bosa, Gallotti & Radice, Italesse, Mabeo Furniture, Moroso, Ogeborg and Skultuna, and lights thanks to cooperation with Established & Sons and Foscarini. A selection of brand new pieces has also been presented.
