Zeiss
Zeiss è un tavolo con struttura a nastro e piano in vetro dello spessore di 19 mm. Quest’ultimo, dal diametro di circa un metro e mezzo, trae la sua forma dai ciottoli modellati per secoli dell’erosione dell’acqua creando un effetto pietra preziosa. Il bisello a spessore irregolare ne amplifica le linee organiche sposando un’estetica artigianale ad un materiale tipicamente lavorato con processi industriali.
Zeiss is a table with ribbon structure and glass top of 19 mm. This one, with the diameter of about one meter and a half, takes its form from pebbles shaped by centuries of water erosion creating a precious stone. The bevel with irregular thickness amplifies the organic lines merging a hand-crafted aesthetic with a material typically worked with industrial processes.
