Rulli
Il nome di questo progetto fa riferimento alle vetrate delle chiese che si possono vedere un po' dappertutto a Venezia. Queste vetrate sono create a partire da elementi, così detti “Rulli”, questi ultimi vengono incastonati in montature di piombo a creare grandi superfici luminose e multicolori. Il set di tavolini, pensato per la zona living, si compone di tre elementi base di dimensioni diverse ma sempre contenute, che possono essere composti per sovrapposizione o per affiancamento, ricreando l'artificio al quale fa riferimento il loro nome, ma possono essere anche utilizzati singolarmente, come piccoli side tables da affiancare ad un divano o ad una poltrona.
The name of this project refers to the bottle-glass windows seen in many Venetian churches. These windows are created through the combination of multiple rounds of glass known as rulli set in a leaden frame, and the result is the production of large, luminous, multicoloured surfaces. Designed for use in the living room, the Rulli line comprises three basic tables that range in dimensions but are all of a modest size. These three elements can be used in combination by nesting them or placing them one next to the other in order to evoke the visual effect of the windows that inspired them, but they can also be used separately as small end tables next to a sofa or an armchair.
