ROBO SELECTED AT ADI DESIGN INDEX 2011
l’Osservatorio Permanente del Design ADI ha selezionato Robo, design Luca Nichetto per Offecct, per la pubblicazione sull’ADI Design Index 2011.Il premio, ideato nel 1954 da “La Rinascente” e donato poi all’ADI che lo gestisce dal 1956, è il più prestigioso riconoscimento della qualità produttiva e progettuale di beni, servizi e sistemi del design italiano. La selezione annuale è stata condotta secondo una rigorosa metodologia di lavoro ed esclusivi criteri di merito dall’Osservatorio Permanente del Design ADI composto da circa 150 esperti, organizzati in commissioni che operano su tre diversi livelli: commissioni territoriali, commissioni tematiche, commissione di selezione finale. L’ADI Design Index, volume in cui comparirà Robo, è diventato, dal 2009, oltre che preselezione per il Premio Compasso d’Oro anche selezione per il Premio dei Premi, al quale ADI partecipa accanto a Confindustria e CNR.
The Osservatorio Permanente del Design of the Associazione per il Design Industriale (ADI), has selected OFFECCT’s Robo chair designed by Luca Nichetto for inclusion in their ADI Design Index 2011 publication. Launched by La Rinascente in 1954 and adjudicated by the ADI since 1956, the Design Index is the most prestigious means by which the quality of Italian design is recognized in the areas of goods, services and systems. This year’s selection was carried out following both a rigorous methodology and a set of criteria of excellence by the Osservatorio Permanente del Design ADI, a body of approximately 150 experts organized in committees that work on three different levels: territorial committees, thematic committees and the final selection committee. The ADI Design Index in which Robo will appear serves as the preselection for the Premio Compasso d’Oro (Golden Compass Prize), and since 2009 it has also been the source from which candidates are drawn for the Premio dei Premi (Prize of Prizes), which the ADI adjudicates together with Confindustria and the Consiglio Nazionale della Ricerca (CNR).
