MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2010_ESSENCE, DESIGNED BY LUCA NICHETTO FOR BOSA, HANDMADE IN ITALY WITH VENINI
Sarà presentata al Salone del Mobile la collezione di vasi, ciotole, candelieri e piccoli complementi d’arredo con la quale Luca Nichetto intende celebrare la tradizione artigianale della lavorazione del vetro e della ceramica, condividendo quel bagaglio di conoscenze di processi produttivi che gli appartiene fin dall’infanzia.
Essence, oltre ad essere una collezione di oggetti, rappresenta anche un evento itinerante, che ha interessato alcune delle più importanti città europee tra le quali Venezia (Laboratorio 2729, dicembre 2009) e Parigi (107Rivoli, dicembre 2009-gennaio 2010). Il prossimo appuntamento sarà alla Vessel Gallery di Londra (Aprile 2010).
The collection of vases, bowls, candle holders and small objects of interior design with which Luca Nichetto wants to celebrate the tradition of artisanal glass and ceramic craftsmanship and share the knowledge of processes of artisanal production that he inherited when he was just a young boy, will be presented during next Salone del Mobile. Aside from being a collection of artisanal objects, Essence is also an itinerant event, that after Venice has been travelled to some of the most important cities of Europe, first of all Venice (Laboratorio 2729, December 2009) and Paris (107Rivoli, December 2009-january 2010). Next date will be at Vessel Gallery, London (April 2010).
