25/01/2008 - Luca Nichetto per Italesse - Maison&Objet 2008
In occasione della Fiera Maison & Objet che si terrà a Parigi dal 25 al 29 gennaio 2008, verrà presentata la nuova collezione di oggetti professionali per il mondo del beverage ideata da Luca Nichetto per Italesse. La collezione comprende Titan, una caraffa termica in polipropilene con finiture soft touch dotata di pulsante di regolazione del flusso con fermaghiaccio e posizione on/off, una capsula interna da coinbentazione estraibile graduata a 1 lt. e un laccio di sicurezza in silicone. Stripe un vassoio impilabile bimateriale la cui struttura in abs con fascia in evidenza "avvolge" un piano rivestito con materiale soft-touch. Ipo/Epi mortai attentamente studiati nella forma e nelle dimensioni per preparare un mojito a regola d'arte, un perfetto dosaggio degli ingredienti per una o quattro persone. Il mortaio è in polipropilene alimentare mentre il pestello è in acrilico ed è dotato di un cucchiaio in gomma per vuotare l'interno dal pestato. Utile anche in cucina, per preparare pesti e altre ricette.

The new collection of professional products for the beverage field especially designed by Luca Nichetto for Italesse will be displayed on the occasion of Maison & Object, the fair that will take place in Paris from the 25th to the 29th of January 2008. The collection presents Titan, a thermal carafe made of polypropylene with soft touch finishes, equipped with flow adjustment pushbutton with ice shutoff and on/off function, a removable insulating inner flask with 1 litre capacity and a silicone safety strap. Stripe, a stackable tray co-molded in two materials with an ABS structure that wraps a base coated in soft-touch material. Ipo/Epi mortars and pestles specifically studied – in terms of shape and size – to enable you to make a supreme mojito cocktail with ingredients perfectly prepared for one or four persons. The mortar is made of food polypropylene, whereas the pestle is acrylic and equipped with a rubber spoon to make scooping out what you’ve crushed very easy. They can also be used in the kitchen to prepare pesto and other recipes.

08/09/2007 - Promosedia Caiazza Memorial Challenge 2007 – Sezione Invito
Dopo l’invito da parte di Fabio Novembre a partecipare al Caiazza Memorial Challenge 2007 Sezione Invito, dove si chiedeva di reintrepretare la seduta in legno Luca Nichetto ha disegnato Takae che verrà presentata in occasione del 31° Salone Internazionale della Sedia (8-11 settembre). Takae propone di condensare le due più classiche tipologie di produzione del legno curvato: la filosofia scandinava (vedi per esempio la produzione di Alvar Alto) e quella austriaca di Thonet. Ne risulta un insieme organico che sfocia in un design innovativo.

After being invited by Fabio Novembre to participate in the Caiazza Memorial Challenge 2007 Sezione Invito, where he was asked to reinterpret the wooden seat, Luca Nichetto designed Takae, which will be presented on the occasion of the 31st Salone Internazionale della Sedia (International Chair Exhibition, 8-11 September). Takae combines the two most classical production typologies of bended wood: the Scandinavian philosophy (see, for example, the production of Alvar Alto) and the Austrian philosophy of Thonet. 07/02/2007 - Maria at Stockholm Furniture Fair 2007
Maria è stata presentata al Stockholm Furniture Fair, in scena dal 7 all'11 Febbraio 2007. Impiegata come decoro per ambienti e vetrine di esposizione o come separé all'interno di una stanza, Maria è adatta anche all'esterno. Realizzata in polipropilene additivato, i pigmenti termosensibili permettono alla nostra foglia transgenica di cambiare colore con la temperatura. Le decorazioni a "merletto-uncinetto" di ispirazione veneziana riproducono le venature della foglia in un unione tra naturale e artificiale con funzione di schermatura.

Maria was presented at Stockholm Furniture Fair, in stage from 7th to the 11th February 2007. Used as a decoration for interiors and display windows or as a room divider, Maria can also be used outdoors. Made in additivatev polypropylene, the thermosensitive pigments allow our transgenic leaf to change color with the temperature. The "crocheted-lace" decoration inspired by Venetian tradition reproduce the vein patterns of the leaf in a marriage between the natural and artificial that also functions as a screen.

Dal 19 gennaio al 25 aprile 2007.

At Triennale of Milan, during the exhibition "Il paesaggio mobile del nuovo design italiano" that presents the results of the census "The New Italian Design", Luca Nichetto is present with 4 products: About for Moroso, Jerry for Casamania, Touch tile of the Sensitive Collection and Tam-Beau prototype of tamburello for the event Milan SounDesign. From Jenuary 19th to April 25th 2007


17/01/2007 - ABITARE IL MARE
Luca Nichetto, in collaborazione con Casamania by Frezza, vince il concorso Abitare il mare 2007 - Furniture Design Award con l'allestimento del Format Pixel Lounge Bar che sarà esposto all'interno dei padiglioni di CarraraFiere durante la manifestazione SEATEC. La premiazione avverrà il 2 Febbraio 2007 a partire dalle ore 10.00.

Luca Nichetto, in collaboration with Casamania by Frezza, won the "Abitare il mare 2007" contest - Furniture Design Award with set up the Format Pixel Lounge Bar, that will be show inside the pavillions of CarraraFiere during the manifestation "SEATEC". Next February 2nd 2007 at 10.00 there will be the prize-giving.
